About the Position:

The University of Vermont Health Network - Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital (CVPH) is seeking a General Urologist to join its well-established practice. This role offers the opportunity to work in a welcoming, dynamic, and highly supportive environment with full integration within the Division of Urology at the University of Vermont. CVPH is part of a six-hospital network serving northern New York and Vermont and is a certified Level III trauma center. The hospital works closely with the UVM Medical Center, a Level I trauma center located just an hour away. CVPH is a 300-bed community hospital with nine operating rooms, including a DaVinci robot, and an Ambulatory Surgery Center. Plattsburgh is a scenic town in Upstate New York, bordering Lake Champlain, with proximity to the Adirondack Mountains and Montreal. J1 and H1B visa candidates are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General Urologic patient care
  • Providing call coverage to CVPH for inpatient and emergency department patients when on call

Position Details:

  • Full-time at CVPH
  • Outpatient clinic and OR
  • Access to DaVinci robot, if robotics is part of your clinical practice
  • Collaborate with three other team-oriented urologists and a nurse practitioner. The practice is currently recruiting additional APP support.
  • Call responsibility: 1:4 or negotiable 

Requirements:

  • Board eligible/certified
  • Eligible for medical licensure in the State of New York
