The University of Vermont Health Network - Champlain Valley Physician’s Hospital        

                       

Rheumatology


FTE: 0.5; This is a half time position.


The Division of Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology at The University of Vermont Health Network invites applications from board-eligible or board-certified applicants for a position as an adult rheumatologist at Champlain Valley Physician’s Hospital. The selected candidate will be an MD or MD plus PhD with specialty training and expertise in adult rheumatology. Priority will be given to persons who have experience with providing rheumatology clinical services in a university and community setting.  Participation in Quality Improvement is required, and participation in clinical research is encouraged.  Our division is a busy and collegial program that provides specialty rheumatologic clinical services including point of care musculoskeletal ultrasound to a large population in Vermont and upstate New York.  We have a successful adult rheumatology fellowship program and are involved in teaching rheumatology to all health care providers in the community, including medical students at The Robert Larner M.D. College of Medicine at the University of Vermont, and trainees and faculty at UVM Medical Center and UVM Health Network partners throughout the region. We also have a robust research program that includes clinical and translational research related to immunology, inflammatory arthritis, and vasculitis.
