The Department of Family Medicine at the University of Vermont Larner College of Medicine and The University of Vermont Medical Center is seeking a board certified/eligible family physician to join the full-time faculty. This appointment at the University of Vermont will be at the Assistant/Associate/Professor level (1.0FTE) in the Clinical Scholar Pathway commensurate with experience. The selected candidate will join a busy and collegial program. The position requires clinical focus within well-established medical homes. These Patient-Centered Medical Homes (PCMHs) have also been through a workforce transformation and are practicing and teaching population health management. Experience in population health, advanced care delivery, Care Teams and teaching is encouraged.?We seek a rich, diverse workforce and encourage everyone to explore our department and state.
Priority will be given to applicants who have experience providing family medicine clinical services in an academic setting. Our faculty participates with teaching in our family medicine residency education program and our medical student educational programs. Our 6:6:6 residency program is fully accredited. Our program supports academic and professional growth while affording excellent quality of life.
